Wild Water Safety with Bruce Joliff and Dougie Shannon is a brief instructional film on safety and rescue methods suitable for kayakers and canoeists on wild water.
Presented in 10 easy-to-understand chapters, this DVD describes how to: prepare for a whitewater environment; recognize river features; strategically navigate rapids; self-rescue; assist other paddlers; and recover gear.
Bruce and Dougie have many years of paddling experience and have paddled extensively in Asia, North America and Europe. Both are BCU White Water Safety and Rescue Trainers and Level 5 trainers. Most importantly they are active white water paddlers who have trained hundreds of paddlers in these techniques.
Filmed on multiple HD cameras by award-winning cinematographer Paul Diffley and presented by Bruce and Dougie, White Water Safety brings you the finest highlights.

Acceptance and complaints
- When taking over the shipment, it is necessary to check the packaging of the shipment - an obvious defect (damage to the packaging) must be reported immediately and noted in the waybill.
- It is thus possible to accept the shipment even with this defect without worrying about the subsequent application of any damage.
- Check the contents of the shipment after the driver's departure, the driver does not wait for the contents to be checked during delivery - hidden defects can be reported within 3 days after receiving the shipment and request a damage report.
