Seabird Afjord 368 club

The Seabird Afjord 368 Club is a shortened version of the Expedition LV/HV models.This is a great kayak for recreational paddling. This kayak is very similar to the Expedition Åfjord model designed for sea paddling, but is made without a rudder. It is ideal for exercise, fishing and hunting.

The Expedition Åfjord 368 Club kayak is made using advanced HDPE polyethylene blow molding technology. This type of plastic provides a unique combination of stiffness, weight and durability.

The Expedition's designs are based on modern Swedish shaping -the widest part of the kayak is behind the cockpit. This design contributes to a more comfortable and efficient paddling experiencebecause it allows you to bring the paddle close to your body. If you paddle with wind and waves, you will be surprised how easily you can handle these conditions with this kayak.

Sitting in the kayak is very comfortable, thanks to the wide cockpit for easy access, padded seat and adjustable thigh rests.The kayak also includes a new system for adjusting the backrestwhich allows you to adjust its position without leaving the boat. The thigh rests can also be adjusted by ten centimetres in either direction.

The rear hull of the Expedition Åfjord 368 is shaped like a keel, providing unique directional stability even without the use of a rudder.

Designed by Ingvar Ankervik, the fourth generation boat builder and designer in his family, Seabird Designs Expedition models are among the oldest kayak manufacturers in the world. Already in the 19th century, the family reached the absolute top in Swedish boat building and Ingvar Ankervik is one of the best kayak designers in the world.
