Type A:
For almost all surfaces

The package contains:

  • 1x patch 30x8cm
  • 4x wipes for cleaning before gluing
  • 1x spool of line
Tear-Aid Type A repairs cracks in, for example:
  • Airtex, backpacks, cotton and corduroy, pool liner, boots, dacron, Butyl, umbrellas, baby kites, EPDM/PE/HDPE/LDPE/FPP, Gore-Tex, glass, boots, bath toys, Hypalon, Icarex, horse saddles, leather and Lycra, laminate, ski wear, awnings and blinds, water tanks, chargers, inflatables, inflatable boats, inflatable toys and furniture, neoprene, nylon, living cells, protective clothing, car windows, raincoats and rubber clothing, canvas tarpaulins, polyamide, polyester, polyethylene, polyurethane, diving and dry suits, nylon advertising surfaces, seats and sleeping bags, convertible tops, PE tents, surfboards, camping equipment


Instructions for use:

  • It is necessary to follow the instructions exactly to achieve the desired results. Refer to the list of materials to determine whether to use Type A or Type B. Ensure the surface is completely dry before the actual repair.


Repair of common cracks and holes:


1.Clean the surface around the patch with the cloth provided with the patch.
2.Cut out the patch of the required size with scissors.
3.Cut and round the square corners.
4.Carefully peel off about 1 cm of the paper backing, preferably by pulling the paper while stretching the edge of the patch.
5.Press the edges of the damaged material as close together as possible.
6.Position and smooth the exposed centimetre strip of patch. Loosely pull down the paper backing and smooth the patch over the tear.
7.Smooth all the edges, press on the whole patch.
