Werner Covert 1 Piece Straight Shaft - Key Features
Developed in collaboration with the world's best kayakers like Dane Jackson, this model is designed for those who need maximum performance with minimum weight. The Covert is optimized for racing and creeking, with fast entry and excellent water feel. The straight blade gives the paddle clean power transfer and control.
Sheet design and shot characteristics
The blade is a smaller (650 cm²), forward placed blade - allowing immediate and powerful engagement in the water, ideal for high cadence and fast acceleration. Its lower drag makes it suitable for riders who prefer frequency and technical precision over raw power.
Construction and materials
- Carbon Fiber sheets - extremely light, stiff and durable for intensive use in rapids.
- 1-piece straight carbon composite mast - maximum strength and sensitivity in force transmission.
The whole construction is designed with the competition environment in mind - the paddle is stiff and very precise, but at the same time robust enough for heavy creek sections.
Variants and customisation
- Lengths - available in fixed lengths from 191 to 203 cm.
- Type of mast - straight shaft, 1-piece construction (not foldable).
- Leaf alignment - fixed according to factory specification (not adjustable).

Acceptance and Complaints
- Check the package upon receipt. Report any visible damage to the packaging immediately and note it in the delivery document.

- Inspect the package contents after the driver leaves, as they won’t wait for this. Report hidden defects within 3 days of receipt and request a damage report. If you notice damage, please document its extent immediately.
